The Poiesis Ring

The Poiesis ring is a highly textured interpretation of a traditional band, with smooth features contrasting against ripples and waves which cover the rings surface.

Derived from ancient Greek philosophy, Poiesis refers to the process of bringing something new into existence through imaginative, artistic or intellectual efforts. The name lends itself to the process of making fine jewellery from beeswax, which brings new designs into existence from a beeswax carving.

Each design is made to order. This can take anywhere from two to six weeks, depending on the intricacy of the piece and sourcing of stones.
